    • They think critically about how information affects themselves and others.
    • They are curious and empowered to ask questions.
    • They are driven by empathy and evidence when making decisions about information.
    • They model these practices for others. 

This chapter is the end of the first part of the book. The remaining chapters are about implementing the learning from the beginning.

 

What Do Digital Detectives Look Like?

Old-school detective? Androids with lasers? Educators with critical minds? The authors invite readers to come up with their own visual and share it with others. Below is Jarrett Lerner's idea, Figure 6.1 from the book.
